[13] I am passionate about photography, and the Light in Dark places collection is a direct result of this passion. If you ask an artist to define their passion, you'll probably get an answer that either doesn't make a lot of sense, or one that is a total line of b.s. that they created when trying to survive art school. Passion is just not something that can be easily defined. It just happens.

[09] I have terrible problems with motivation. My ability to create new images is greatly impacted by these problems, and that REALLY bothers me. I am not the only artist that experiences these lingering moments of frustration and self-loathing, but knowing that does not provide me with any comfort. [01] The last 18 months of my life were a blur. San Francisco pulled me back again, and this last time, she didn't let go. Everything that could change, did change. During the transition, however, it was difficult to maintain my creative edge. I had to put my photography on pause. It was not an easy thing to do. My self-imposed disassembly/reassembly is nearly complete now, and with this new blogsite, I begin my journey back to photography.
